No batteries required. Unlike desktop computers and laptops printed products are 3 dimensional and viewable without the need for batteries or drawing mains electricity.
During print production we minimise the generation of waste and energy consumption. The Printfine environmental policy statement demonstrates our respect and care for the environment. A copy is included in our print information area.
Printfine´s centralised production reduces the unnecessary waste of energy and resources.
We are fully compliant with the Hazardous Waste Act 2005. The paper waste, unavoidably produced in the production process, is collected and taken to a Material Recycling Facility. Here it is sorted, broken down and graded before being sold back to the paper mills where it is recycled and made back into packaging material. It is important to us that we use a reputable company to recycle our paper waste.
Environmental policies are adopted wherever possible in our offices, turning off unneeded lights, heating and computer equipment, and re-using suitable waste paper.
